How To Create An Email Account In Yahoo!

Yahoo! Mail is one of the largest free email service that has hundreds of millions of users around the world. Since 1997, Yahoo Mail continues to grow and add various facilities for its users. Some of the advantages offered by Yahoo! Mail such as an unlimited storage capacity and familiar interface.

How do I create an email account in Yahoo!?

1. Please visit http://mail.yahoo.com. In the upper right, click Create New Account. (Click the image below to enlarge).

2. Now you are in the registration page. There are several things you should consider when filling out the form:
* After you enter the Yahoo ID of your choice, click the Check button. If the ID is already owned by someone else, Yahoo will suggest some options that you can choose, or you write another ID option. You can also use alternative accounts such as @ ymail.com or @rocketmail.com if the ID that you use are not available at @Yahoo.com. (Click the image below to enlarge).

* If this is your first email, then do not need to fill "Alternative Email" fields are required.
* Security Question will be very useful if one day you forget your password.

4. Your email account has been created. Yahoo! Mail will display the details of your data. For direct use facilities Yahoo Mail, click the Continue button on the right sidebar. (Click the image below to enlarge).

5. Now you can utilize all the facilities Yahoo! Mail. You can start sending and receiving emails. You also can use the Yahoo ID that you have right now to access other facilities owned by Yahoo! like Yahoo! Messenger and Yahoo Answers.

PS: If you use a @ymail.com or a @rocketmail.com account, then you should write your complete ID when logged in, for example: yourid@ymail.com. However, if you use akun@yahoo.com, then you simply type in your ID, for example: yourID. See the picture below (click to enlarge).
